Foreigners Arrested For Stock Theft – Officers lauded for speedy arrests

A special operation conducted on 22 April resulted in the recovery of stolen livestock. Twenty-six sheep were reported stolen from Henningkraal in the Ingogo policing area.

According to Cluster Head of Communications Captain Shooz Magudulela, police received information and attended immediately. “The operation was conducted by Lt Col Mvuleni Sangweni and Ingogo Police Station members,” he said. The operation led to the recovery of 20 sheep and the arrest of four foreigners.
“Based on information received from the Newcastle War Room, one of the suspects is wanted in connection with house break-ins in Ladysmith,” Magudulela revealed. The suspects are aged between 25 and 40 are expected to make a court appearance soon.
